New Tenancy Act – What does it mean for landlords?

As of July 2016, the tenancy act has been changed, which has meant cracking down on smoke alarms and insulation for rental homes in New Zealand. Landlords must have a signed insulation statement disclosing if there is insulation in their rental, including the condition, type and location of the insulation.
