DAY OF THE DEAD by VULPA

This was an enjoyable Halloween study and the seasonal lightheartedness was infectious.

I drew inspiration from the poem 'A una calavera’ (To a skull) written by Lope de Vega.

The famed Day of the dead celebrations take place throughout south America celebrated on November the 1st and 2nd, where people remember departed family and loved ones. I love the brightly coloured skull make up amalgamated with the Gothic feel.
