Do we learn pain?
A 10 month old baby stands up for the first time and falls backward onto their butt – are they in pain? It’s sort of like that old question – if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? As an analogy, it’s actually a lot more like the first question than people may realize.
