Surviving

Once upon a time, I had chronic pain due to a lifetime of living with scoliosis. I also had a child with a new onset of type one diabetes and I was newly divorced. A loved One Lost

I wrote this on 8/20/17 for Bridget. This summer I knew much joy and happiness but also knew sadness and loss. It is with great admiration for my cousin Bridget that I share the words I wrote in her memory. Bridget passed away just weeks after receiving a new heart.
