Well, that was fast! My sunscreen barely had time to dry before I received the deadline notice from Jean Miller about the September newsletter. Famous Brown v Board Lawyer's Portrait to be installed May 1

Announcement: Elaine Bankston's portrait of Oliver Hill, Sr. will be unveiled and installed in the New Oliver W. Hill Sr Justice Center (Courthouse) in Roanoke on May 1. Oliver Hill was the lead attorney in landmark Brown vs the Board of Education case and President Clinton awarded him the Medal of Freedom. Elaine was first commissioned by the University of Richmond to do Hill’s portrait. Governor McAuliffe requested it be moved to the Governor's Mansion where it still hangs.
