I did it! All in one morning! So I picked out a new appliance and brought it home. After unpacking it - which required both hands and one foot - I put the old one in the garage. I installed the whole thing. No extra parts, no leaks or spills, and best of all - no electrocution. All 3 dogs were mesmerized. I think they would have clapped and hooted if they knew how.
I know you are all out there going "you go, girl!!" By the way, a microwave is considered an appliance, right?
Illness has plagued the family - illness as in colds. I felt great one day and the next day my grocery cart looked like this:
But I did come up with a great idea. (At least in my sickly mind). when you finish off a box of tissues, that box now becomes your "OUT" box. It worked perfectly for me. Just imagine......you don't even have to get up any more to put your used tissue in the garbage!
I have no idea what that creepy hand is doing under my out box.
After checking out this invention a little closer, Finn totally approved.
Someone else wasn't feeling great.......
Did you just say "awwwwww"? I thought I heard you.
I hate when a car breaks down. Hmm wonder if it's a Chevy or a Ford....
I can't decide if he is a future actor, singer, or stand-up comedian.
At least he got a haircut before performing on stage. Apparently this was a drive-thru.
More running - on horseback and on foot:
Because I run, I have ugly toes. It just comes with the territory. But I was sick of one particular toe that seemed to have trouble ridding itself of a nail before the replacement tried to come in. No more descriptions I promise. Anyway off to the Foot Dr. "Let's just take that sucker off", he said. "It won't hurt", he said. "You'll be running in no time," he said.
Well actually that was almost true. Until...(drumroll) the infection appeared. Oh yea. Can I say P-A-I-N !!!!
Hahaha. I was so tempted to show you a picture of it unwrapped! I'm now on antibiotics and unable to put on a shoe. Running will begin, sometime after walking resumes.
At least on my trip to the Dr. in Corvallis today, I found a nice coffee shop to catch up on emails and the news.
I was invited to go Christmas tree hunting this weekend.
This one was 'prickly'.
This one turned out to be 'The One'.
Once we got back, the decorating began. No dress code required.
Once the lights and all the ornaments were on, Finn stepped back and said "now we can get presents!" Oh it starts so young....
And finally, I noticed this on the shelf at WalMart.
Seriously! Is there any child under the age of 15 that even knows what this is???
I am off to search through Netflix. I've actually seen several good movies while I've been confined.
I hope you are all having a good Monday.
One step (or hobble) at a time,
