When I was six years old my parents bought me a chalkboard on one side and a crayon side on the other because I wouldn’t stop drawing on everything.  When I learned to write in grade school, I couldn’t, so I would just draw my letters and still do and finally passed handwriting. Cara is a graduate of The Art Institute of Dallas. There she studied fashion design, graphic design, and digital art. She worked in the fashion industry until she started to transition into graphic design and fine art. She is inspired by fashion illustration and vintage aesthetics and uses both to create her multimedia artworks. She also enjoys bringing the joy of art to others by teaching art and art history to children both locally and globally.

Working mainly with oils on canvas, I enjoy painting landscapes and other inspiring scenery in the alla prima method with impasto techniques in the abstract impressionism style.
