Mermaid Monday Sick Kids

The kids are home today. Their normally resilient little bodies have succumbed to a virus that has caused over a quarter of their school to be absent. As I write this I have an extremely feverish 6 year old radiating heat on my lap. The laundry basket is overflowing, I can see bits of crumbs on the floor, my taxes need finishing but none of it matters because right now two children need mommy rubs and assurances that they will feel better soon.
