On the 10/9/2019 South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguard Club held its annual AGM and presentation evening at Pershore Football Club. The combination of these events allowed both club members and parents to become informed about what activities the Lifesaving Club has undertaken in the past 12 months. The Presentation element highlighted some of the individuals who have been volunteering over the past 12 months and have shown exceptional effort and determination in Lifesaving.

On Saturday the 19th October, some of South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguards Club Members were recognised for their hard work and contributions in running and maintaining the variety of sections which South Worcester Operates. On the 12th October, South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguard members travelled up to Yorkshire for the annual RLSS Yorkshire Speeds Competition. This Competition gave our competition team and club members the ability to use the skills they have been refining and practicing over the year to apply against Lifesaving teams across the country at this national event. Over the weekend of the 27th to the 29th of September, South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguard Club were assisted by Lancaster Area Search and Rescue Unit (LASAR) in providing Clinical support for this event. The event which was over the course of three days provided the teams with multipe logistical issues which were caused by the fluctuating weather. On the 22/08/19 the South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguard unit were tasked with providing First Aid capability for the annual Pershore Bike Nite event. This event is a growing event which is situated on the high street in Pershore. The event consisted of multiple bikes attending a parade along with stalls from local buisnesses. Over the Weekend if the 13th and 14th of July, members of South Worcester Lifesaving Club alongside members of Redditch Lifesaving Club travelled to Poole in order to complete a variety of levels from the Beach Survive and Save award. On the 20/7/19, South Worcester Lifeguards and Flood Team Members conducted patrol activities in both water and land based operations, for the annual Pershore River Festival. On the 13/7/19 South Worcester Patrol & Flood Rescue Team used their skills to provide both water rescue capability and First Aid for the Annual Evesham River Festival. This historic event every year consistently attracts multiple thousands of people converge along a stretch of the River Avon , with a multitude of events taking place on and around the river. On the 27th April 2019, members of South Worcester Lifesaving and Lifeguard Club took part in the National Surf Lifesaving GB Youth Pool Championships which was contested in the Cardiff International Pool. On the 02/03/2019, multiple teams from South Worcester Lifesaving & Lifeguard Club attended the regional branch Rookie Gala which was located at Droitwich leisure Centre. The Rookie Competition consisted of two age groups competing, the under 11's and the under 14's.
