One of my favorite things to create when I need a lighter day is creating tiny 4" hoops. I love small art and have fun experimenting with these. These twins are human specimens from the Vrolik Museum in Amsterdam. It has been hand embroidered with sewing thread on hand painted fabrics. It's a combination of cotton and linen. The next step is to mount it on a 10" birch painting panel. I then use inks and watercolor as a finish.
