Source: Global News The Ontario Health Coalition is raising concerns over Premier Doug Ford’s plan to alter OHIP-plus coverage. OHIP-plus was first rolled out by the Liberal government in January 2018. It offered kids and adults under 24 free prescription medication. This included more than 4,400 drugs in the Ontario drug benefit program. The province has now announced that it will require Ontarians in that age range to tap into private benefits before billing the government.
