Allowing in disappointment
Allowing in feelings of disappointment may seem counterintuitive to some. But if there's something I've learned along this journey, it's that all feelings matter - good and bad. I used to have this idea that I had to think positive all the time. That having negative thoughts was just BAD. Of course, that's ridiculous. Being positive all the time is just impossible. At least, for me. Trying to be positive all the time is exhausting. And also blatantly disregards anything else.
