Updated: Feb 10

I've asked Bristol's breweries and my favourite pubs what's happening in the world of Bristol beer.

Events are at the top, brewery news at the bottom of the page.

This month I'm now using a blog so that I can add in new events as they are announced. Let me know if you like it!

February events:

Moor

"We have three new beers coming your way!

Elmoor is a celebration of the one and only Elmer, who will be turning 60 this month! We brewed a 5.5% pale ale with Belgian yeast and it is tasting stunning.

We will be releasing this beer both in our taproom and at the Elmer’s Arms on the 22nd February.

There will be beer, music and the man himself!

White Pony is a nod to the fantastic album by the Deftones. This 6% White IPA is a marriage of two distinct beer styles; the American IPA with it’s high hop character and the wheat-based Belgian Wit with its refreshing and spicy presence.

Beta is the continuation from Alpha, but with a little bit Moor in it. This 5% pale ale has the addition of Mosaic which Alpha lacked. This addition bring aromas of Mango and passionfruit. This beer is leading up to a brand new core beer we are planning to introduce soon… So keep your eyes peeled!

Introduced for #Tryanuary, but staying as an ongoing weekday deal in the tap room, we have our Session Flight, meaning you can try any 4 session beers for £5!

Tapestry

"February see's us kicking off with showing the Six Nations live on our projector screen the first weekend. We will be showing all matches on a Saturday throughout February and March. During the games, the wood-fired pizza oven will be fired up and we’’ll be serving our very own sourdough pizzas and a pint for £10 deal throughout February. Choose any of the beers pouring and either a margerita or chorizo pizza. The pizzas are cooked on our very own wood-fired oven here at the brewery and cooked by our very own pizzas chef - Ross.

During February we will also be launching new beers to coincide our "Tap into Bristol" event on 8th (see in events section, as well as event on 13th)

For those of you a little further afield, we will also be pouring a range of beers at BREW//LDN over the weekend of 27-29th February."

That's it for now, but I'll be adding more events each week. I hope you enjoyed it.

Please subscribe and share with your friends!

Cheers,

Heather.
