It's a catchy headline, isn't it? I'm passing along a message from our athletic trainer, Kari Cunningham:

"Coming in March we have an exciting opportunity to partner with our parents and community to address anxiety and depression in our students/athletes.  On March 19th, Heidi Swapp and David Kozlowski of "Light the Fight" podcast will be presenting their "Don't Freak Out" event here at Sunset in the auditorium.  The purpose of the event is to "learn strategies to partner with your children, help them combat anxiety and depression, and build high-quality relationships for life."  It’s an interactive evening.  The first hour is then giving strategies and the second hour is Q&A (don’t worry, people can text in their questions)."

Please don't wait until the last day to get signed up! The first day of the season is March 2 but you shouldn't wait until then to get signed up. See Mrs Smith in the athletic office to drop off your forms. Every athlete will need:

1) an up-to-date physical

2) a participation form (only one required per school year)

3) $225 participation fee (payable through the online payment system)

These forms and payments MUST go through the athletic office. Please consider taking care of these requirements sooner than later.

Pre-season conditioning continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in the second semester.

The 2020 printed calendar won't be my first-ever mistake-free version. A home meet against Southridge is printed on consecutive Wednesdays. It shouldn't read that way.

We have an away meet with Southridge on Wednesday, April 22.

We have no meet on Wednesday, April 29.

The printable calendar has been edited an fixed online. The Google calendar on the website was always correct (and accepts updates as they are added).

Thank you in advance for your forgiveness for the error and oversight.
