I had a vision, I made some friends and we got really creative.
After three months of planning, it finally came to fruition. I dreamed of a modern, bold, black and white styled shoot to showcase the amazing creativity that happens when 12 wedding vendors get together. I wanted to create something unlike anything I have seen in a local wedding — something to make people think "WOW, I want that!"
I met some lovely ladies at a local bridal shop's grand-opening back in June. I just had a strong sense that I needed to be there to meet some other wedding professionals — that night changed every idea I had about opening my own business. I got to chat with several business women who knew the area but one lady stood out — Steph Smith with Steph Smith Weddings. I just felt a wonderful connection to her. We were kindred spirits! And then there was Beth, the owner of Joon Bridal, the sweetest little bridal shop with gorgeous, modern gowns. The type of gowns I would want my bride to wear! I just knew these ladies would be amazing to stay in touch with.
I'm so glad I followed my intuition! After a couple months of planning, gathering items, and exchanging ideas, I came up with a gorgeous mood board for the shoot. I knew I wanted white and darker colored floral, a super dramatic background, a tablescape unlike anything I had ever seen and a cake that had an artistic edge.
I was so excited about every element that was going into this shoot and every vendor was incredibly easy to work with. I finally got my complete list of vendors secured, let everyone know what they were responsible for and in the end, it all came together SEAMLESSLY.
I still have chills — when I first saw the photos I gasped, over and over and over again. As if I had never seen any of these photos before. 😂 #Dramatic ... maybe a little.
Have you ever seen such a GORGEOUS bouquet? I'm a little obsessed. #Florals provided by the lovely Hannah with Fleurish NWA.
The moss colored jewelry was hand-crafted by Amber E Lea. Amber sculpts each piece of jewelry for a truly unique design. And everything she creates is #swoonworthy.
Artistic yet timeless, this cake stole the show and anyone would be lucky a "piece" of this art at their wedding. The cake was hand painted by Chuck's Cake Shoppe. They're one of the oldest (and can we say most TALENTED) cake shops in Fayetteville!
Now, let's talk about how COZY yet modern this cake table feels? I just wanna snuggle up on those pillows, eat some cake and drink that champagne. Thanks to Traci at Ginger Blue Girl Vintage for letting us use all of the rentals. I don't think it's possible to have a wedding these days without some incredibly timeless pieces to flaunt your style!

The combo of minimal script and the classic serif font are clutch.
That tablescape though! (INSERT ALL THE HEART EYE EMOJI'S!)
Thanks to Bliss Design Studio for creating the acrylic menus — if I could do it all over again I would easily have acrylic menus at my wedding. 😍
Don't forget that beautiful decanter — the perfect addition to any head table. It's simple and practical, yet it makes such an impact.
Here is a detail shot:
And I don't think copper is going anywhere soon... these copper chargers are so on point.
This is just a peek at the shoot! I will be uploading more photos over the next few weeks so stay tuned.
