A dream is not always an impossible dream. To get your dream you would need to have goals, plans and strategies. It requires regular reviewing of your actual performances against your target goals. However, here are some of the effective ways of realising your dreams.

Have A Vision. Visualising your dream is good. Picture out in your mind what you want to target or achieve. Let say, you want to have your dream house. You have to visualise its location, design, colour and number of rooms. Build a strong desire for wanting it; imagine yourself living in it. Feel as it is already happening!

Set Your Goal. In setting your goal you have to be specific and realistic. Decide what you really want to get; then gather data and information versus your sources of income. Study your expenses and savings. Know how much money you can set aside from your earnings so you can set time frame in getting your goal. If you would need to, do side jobs from your hobby or small jobs to have extra sources of income.

Have A Plan. Lay down all the information you have and make plans. To achieve your dream, you will need tools and money. Make a list of the possible ways that you can do to get your dream. There is no big or small. You need to plan and do it. If it did not work, try another one again and again. Make a spreadsheet to record your income, budget and expenses. Monitor and analyse the flow of your finances. Decide the amount of money that you will set aside every month for your goal. Just remember to be honest to yourself and be realistic.

Use Tool. Putting your money in the bank is the best tool to save for your plan. Banks are offering different options that will help you in realising your goal either long term or short term. If you have a personal account, have a separate account for your target or goal. This is to avoid you from touching your savings. Aside from this, you will need to equip yourself with knowledge and skills. Read books as much as you can. Meet new people that would guide you towards your dream every day. Learn and connect with them. Surround yourself with all the things that you want that will motivate you to get what you want.

Have Commitment. If you will get yourself committed to realising your goal, you will be more focused. You will be watchful and careful about your decisions. You will be more responsible for all your actions.

Act For It. Dreams without action are nothing and impossible. Aside from giving your commitment, an action is the most important part of realising your goal. What you have read above are just your fuels. Realising a dream is like riding in a car. A car won't run without fuel and a car without a driver won't reach its destination. The driver towards your dream is you. So "Act For Your Dream Now."

Thinking Outside The Box is probably familiar to you. Surely you will think the Nine Dots Puzzle. This challenge is connecting the dots by drawing four straight, continuous lines that pass through each of the nine dots, and never lifting the pencil from the paper. The puzzle is easily solved but only if you draw the lines outside the confines of the square area which is defined by the nine dots themselves. According to Wikipedia, thinking outside the box is to think differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective. This phrase often refers to a novel, creative and smart thinking. This is sometimes called a process of lateral thought.

How To Think Outside The Box? - It's Woman PowerHow To Think Outside The Box? - It's Woman Power

It is a system used to solve problems wisely which you think seem difficult and hard to handle. This system is being practised by risk-takers. It is not just by accepting solutions which are already given but also by thinking or finding other alternatives in solving problems. To explain it more clearly, here is the example, you are in the condition that makes you uneasy and uncomfortable, like having a skin disease which is, irritating, itchy and embarrassing. Usually, you will blame this annoying situation to the skin disease visibly seen by your naked eyes. Then initially you will wear clothes to cover it, and you will use skin ointments as common treatments to that skin problem. It is solving a problem base on normal ways and convenience. Do you think it will totally relieve the situation? Thinking Outside The Box is finding the real root or cause of the problem for better and long-term or permanent solution. The smart way is to know and understand the real cause of the problem. In this example, the unhygienic practice gives fungi and bacteria a chance to grow and spread into the skin that causes irritation and disease. The best solution is to kill the fungi and bacteria causing skin problem and practice hygiene.

To simplify, solve problems by using your brain and logical reasoning. It is not just by finding the cause or root of the problem but also by understanding it. Thinking of possible solutions aside from what you already have at hand; thinking of the possible causes and effects. Thinking of the possible advantages and disadvantages of solutions - the consequences and your preparation in facing it.

Thinking Outside The Box or Out-of-the-box thinking requires an openness to new ways of seeing the world and a willingness to explore. Out-of-the-box thinkers know that new ideas need nurturing and support. They also know that having an idea is good but acting on it is more important. Results are what count. It is approaching problems in new, innovative and effective ways.

I will share with you a funny trivia about a "Bee". Bee is one of the busy insects that you will observe in the surroundings. Bee makes a hive and the honey. If you observe this insect closely, you will see that it has a mammoth body and thin and tiny wings. It is astounding that this creature can fly despite having thin and tiny wings. Have you wondered how and why? It is because this creature never thinks that he cannot fly. It is thinking and seeing things beyond your imagination and limitation that would help you become a good problem solver. By mastering this method, you will see your life in a different way. You will absolutely enjoy happiness.

The typical problem that most of the migrants are going through when moving into a new country, especially to English speaking countries, is their poor ability to speak the English language. Considering that most of them are skilled and professionals from their home country, poor communication skills are giving them difficulties to get the job that they wanted.

If you are going through with this problem like of other people who are just starting to learn the English language; or if you can read and understand English, but can’t speak, asses and evaluate yourself thoroughly. To deal with the problem is to have an in-depth understanding of the real cause of the problem. Ask questions to yourself like, why are you experiencing difficulties or troubles when speaking the English language?

Well, these are just parts of the real problem that you are struggling with to handle. In fact, these are the effects; and the real causes are your poor mind setting, poor behaviour and poor attitude. To learn things, you need to have an open mind. You should understand that the essence of communication is to understand and be understood - it is a two-way process.

You should see clearly the changes happening around you and think of ways to adjust to it. If you want to improve your English speaking skills, first have a genuine interest to learn it. Accept the changes and embrace the fact that you are now living in an English speaking country; and for you to fit in, you have to adopt the language. Therefore, you should:

• THINK ENGLISH

• Don’t focus on grammar rules

You might be surprised, but this is the fact. Unlike in writing, you don’t need to be more serious in grammar rules when speaking. Speaking is more on expressing yourself verbally. It has freedom and no rules. You can use any words depending on your mood or feeling.

You have to understand that even the native English speaker has troubles in grammar. In a study, only fractions of English speakers know more than 20% of grammar rules. The more you focus on grammar when speaking English, the more trouble you get in expressing yourself. Just speak out your mind and let it go.

However, if you want to learn more about grammar rules and improve your speaking and writing skills, check these websites: http://www.grammarly.com.

• Don’t try too hard in imitating the accent of native English speakers

You can’t have an accent overnight. It takes a while and requires a lot of patience and hard work. You have to realise that there is nothing wrong whether you have an Indian accent or Chinese accent. The important thing is, you can speak English clearly and express yourself well. Be yourself.

• Improve your vocabulary

When you are watching TV or reading books and encountering unfamiliar words, check the meaning of the word in the dictionary. It is really helpful to have a handy dictionary with you all the time; and from every new word that you have learned, use it when conversing with your friends and family.

There is useful software from the Internet that you can download to your computer, which can be very helpful in checking the meaning of new words. There are websites offering free software download of “word web”, just Google it.

• Improve your listening skills

Poor listening skill is one of the reasons why you can not speak English. When you are talking to someone and can not understand what he is saying, more likely you will not able to respond from him. To improve your listening skills, get your ears used to English words by listening to the radio or English songs. Use headset for better audio.

• Improve your pronunciation

The best way to improve your pronunciation is to read out loud. Pay attention to yourself and in how you say the word. Look at yourself in the mirror. Observe how you open your mouth and use your tongue. If you are in doubt, check the dictionary and study the right pronunciation of the word.

• PRACTICE

This is the real key in improving your English speaking skills. You have to apply everything you have learned. PRACTICE, PRACTICE and PRACTICE! Eventually, you will hear yourself speaking the English language without any hassle at all.
