On my most recent trip to Europe, I stopped over in Athens on the way to the Greek islands. Having never been before, I wasn't quite sure what to expect; I'd heard mixed reviews about the ancient Greek city. It was definitely an action-packed 24 hours, but I felt it was (almost) the perfect amount of time.
