First Snow Portraits of the Season

Winter portrait sessions are back in season and I couldn't be more excited to share this one with you!

There are so many difficulties in planning a snow session. The first and most obvious is the snow. It needs to be present!

Then there are the issues of perfect snowfall amounts. If the snow fall is a foot and the plows have not graced the streets and one does not have a truck, then meeting at a snowy site will be near impossible unless the subject and photographer are in close proximities.

Then of course there is scheduling. Sometimes the most perfect snow falls in the most perfect of ways, during a workweek or during a holiday etc. All of these reasons truly make this

shoot special.

Sometimes I wish I lived in Canada or Siberia. But this time, I did not have to wish.
