Dragon Force Team: 8 first place wins at East Coast karate tourney


​​​​​​​​​​Congratulations to the Dragon Force National Karate Demo Team and Ryoshin-Kan Karate School on a great performance and impressive victory at the 2019 East Coast Virginia State Martial Arts Championships, held recently at Bethel High School in Hampton.

The team’s performance won the 1st Place Team Demo Trophy and we had a total of 24 people from Ryoshin-Kan Karate School that represented their dojo to the highest level.

We won a total of 12 trophies, including eight first place trophies!

Well done, to the following karate champions: Sensei Tim Thompson, Michael Milliman, Hayden Bowles, Zachary Bowles, Alondra Duenas, Alejandro Duenas, Alex Hill, Sammy Assassa, Albert Slavin, Ellie Smith, Victor Rodriguez and Hoda Youssef.

1st PLACE Black Belt Youth Musical Weapons: Alondra Duenas.

1st PLACE Blue Belt Youth Musical Forms: Hoda Youssef.

Won 2nd Place to 4th Place in Various Divisions: Michael Milliman, Alejandro Duenas, Ellie Smith and Hoda Youssef.
