Blockweather Manager is Named Entrepreneur of the Year

DOVER, DE – 9 August 2018 – Dr. David Henry was named the winner of the 15th Annual International Business Awards Gold Stevie® Award as Entrepreneur of the Year – Financial Services. The IBA received more than 3,900 nominations from 74 countries and territories.

Dr. Henry is a board-certified surgeon, entrepreneur, and inventor. He co-founded one of the first cryptocurrency hedge funds in the world with Shane Shields, MBA, who previously designed and managed the network and security infrastructure for many billion-dollar hedge funds on Wall Street.

Dr. Henry worked diligently for two years to build Blockweather into a respected, ethical, responsible, and successful company. Dr. Henry has been personally involved in educating state legislators and the public on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency through radio and conference appearances and in-person testimonies. Dr. Henry requires employees to adhere to a strict Code of Ethics, and he also filed for four patents and two trademarks in 2018.

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 270 executives worldwide who participated on 12 juries.
