Location Location Location

Warning - the word location is used alot ☺

Some people think we don't have much to offer in Johannesburg. We have sooooo much, we are actually spoilt for choice, the only locations we don't have are beaches & canyons but our highveld grasses are like no other! The beautiful venues are dependent on seasons & what you want out of your photos.

I love to photograph at different places that's why when I send out my quote I give you a list of locations, distances & the type of photos you will get from your photoshoot. Choose a setting that makes you happy, you want to be in your element. Some venues do require permission & fee's but we'll discuss that further during the quoting process.

As I'm a natural light photographer I'm a little obsessed with light & quite strict with the time I like to shoot, my style revolves around the perfect light, not too bright but soft. This is why I shoot in golden hour - 6am & 5pm in the Summer then 7:30am & 4pm in Winter.

Weather - we're quite lucky as it doesn't rain in Winter but our Summer is unpredictable. The only time I will cancel a shoot is if its raining. Grey clouds believe it or not can make for stunning moody photos & are a photographer's natural filter. If we are on the shoot & it begins to rain, I will keep you dry with my photo friendly umbrella's - at the end of the day, rain doesn't hurt anyone, its actually a blessing & we can definitely have some fun (as long as its not torrential).

So when planning your photoshoot, think about what you want to wear, the season & your favourite background. And sometimes it's ok to wake up at dawn if you want that perfect shot.
