Need a Metabolism Boost? Try a Juice Fast!

Here is a list of fruit and vegetables that can be used for the Juice Fast:

 

500 g Apples

250 g Cantaloupe

200 g Pears

200 g Cherries

200 g Orange (peeled)

150 g Strawberries

150 g Blueberries

150 g Blackberries

150 g Raspberries

150 g Grapefruit (peeled)

150 g Peaches

100 g Carrots

100 g Cucumber

75 g Celery

50 g – 100 g Ginger (unpeeled), depending on preference to ginger

Fresh lemon juice

1-2 tsp Cayenne pepper (optional)

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut fruits and vegetables into sizes that can fit into your juicer.

  2. Juice fruits.

  3. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer for a more refined texture.

  4. Freshen with the lemon juice and add cayenne pepper to heat preference.

  5. Sip slowly over a 12-hour period. Also drink at least 1 liter of water.

Optional: Drink several cups of green tea (no dairy or sugar) and take a complete multi-vitamin.
