One iota announces partnership with SnapScan for South African launch

One iota, providers of cloud-based apps to global retail brands including JD Sports, Superdry and HUGO BOSS have partnered with leading South African payment provider SnapScan.

Managing Director of One iota, Chris Brooks, commented “We recently met with a number of large retailers in Cape Town and it soon became apparent that SnapScan was the go-to-solution for payments in South Africa. Having already partnered with a number of Europe’s key payment solution providers including Paypal, Adyen and Klarna, we are delighted to add SnapScan to our partner list.”

As part of a pilot programme with South African-based retailer, The Foschini Group (TFG), SnapScan has been embedded into One iota’s kiosk app, recently launched in TFG’s SportScene and TotalSport stores located in South Africa’s largest shopping centre, Fourways Mall.

CEO of SnapScan, Chris Zietman, commented “We met with Chris and the team on their recent trip to South Africa and were really impressed with the in-store technology solutions they offer. We’re looking forward to developing the relationship with the One iota team on a number of upcoming projects.”
