Up next - Cheshunt (away)

    Updated: 2 days ago

Coming up next for the Robins is an away game against Cheshunt (Saturday 16th November - KO 3pm), writes James Barrett-Sterling.

Carshalton get back to league business this weekend after two contrasting cup results in a row.

The Robins' FA Cup run came to an end against Boston United last Saturday, but they progressed in the FA Trophy on Tuesday night beating in-form Frome Town 5-3.

But the club need to get back to winning ways in the league as their last five matches have ended in draws. Ricky Korboa, Christie Pattisson and Tommy Bradford are in the goalscoring groove, but a clean sheet would be welcome - the last one was kept back in September.

Other results went against Cheshunt in midweek and the club now currently finds itself in the bottom three.

The Ambers were trounced 6-1 by Cray Wanderers in their last match and that stretched a run of consecutive losses to seven. Top goalscorer Afolabi Akinyemi have five goals to his name, but the forward hasn't hit the back of the net in over a month.
